Oh, shut the hell up Pete!

So Pete Rose is at it again…whining about wanting back into MLB. This quote just kills me:

"They could send a hit man after me, and I would still be out there trying to sell baseball. My name’s synonymous with baseball."

Kevin Millar in early March 2007 If you read the article, he gets his complaints in about what MLB won’t allow him to do. I keep hoping Rose will go away for good, but no such luck.

I’ve been fortunate enough to have taken many trips to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown and, let me tell you, you can’t swing a dead cat without it hitting something related to Rose. All his accomplishments are there for everyone to see. The fact that there isn’t a plaque with his name on it – well, that really doesn’t bother me. Pete made his bed. (It took him long enough to ADMIT that he made his bed!) Now he’ll spend the rest of his life complaining about it.
