Exclusive to RSC – thanks to Jere!Anyone who buys tickets to a Fenway game in April knows the chances of it being rained out are pretty good. This is the third or fourth year I’ve missed a game in April because of rain (but the FIRST where I didn’t actually GO to the park! Yay for working close by!). Even though they did it fifteen minutes after the game was supposed to start, at least they called this one relatively early.
I’d probably be more bummed had I not gone two nights in a row and had plans for another four games in a row following it.
Jere is in town and sent me this picture of Mike Timlin and Richie Sexson from Wednesday! Thanks, Jere! You know I love it! I’ll see Jere tonight, weather permitting. We’ll be in the bleachers, which I’m really looking forward to. All the games I’m going to this year, I only have bleacher seats for one other, aside from tonight, and that’s on Memorial Day (and was done purposely so I could be close to Trot on his return to Fenway!).
Right now it is (moderately) sunny and clear. Here’s hoping it stays that way for tonight!
