Matsuzaka is on the mound tonight and he’s never faced the Angels before. This excites me quite a bit, especially considering how good his last outing was.
The fact that I’ll actually be at the game tonight also helps add to the pleasure factor. 🙂
I’m enjoying the TBS coverage a little more than I expected to. Nice to hear commenters who are enthusiastic about the games, without being obnoxious. (And Kudos to the TBS dude who called Lebron James a ‘frontrunner’ for wearing a Yankees cap!) Indians beat the Yankees and their Cy Young candidate 12-3. Sweet!
Not so sweet is this story.
A 25-year-old carpenter from Quincy is in serious condition after he was assaulted outside a Yonkers, N.Y. hotel last night by a group of men he said had earlier asked about his allegiance to the Red Sox.
Hmm…who is the worse fan? A smart-ass blogger who calls ARod "Slappy" or drunken idiots who beat a person bloody because he’s a Red Sox fan. It’s a tough one, take some time to think about it. 🙂
Seriously, hopefully Carlos Ortez will be all right and the thugs who attacked him will get what’s coming to them.
JD Drew’s baby brother is tearing it up in the NLDS. Tonight, big brother JD starts doing the same!
