And the suckitude continues…

BoSox can’t beat the Orioles (5-4). PawSox can’t beat the Bisons (6-5).

Baseball is supposed to please me not annoy me.

I’m not pleased. Josh wasn’t “Josh-like” but he still pitched relatively well. The bats just did nothing. Ugh. I hate one-run losses more than any others.

According to the radio dudes for the PawSox, Kyle’s luggage did not make the trip to Buffalo with him. Supposedly, his luggage will be waiting for him when he gets to his hotel tonight. Guess the idea of a 6 foot 8 guy coming after you to get his unmentionables will inspire you to get your ass in gear. 🙂

Kyle only gave up one hit in his outing tonight, and it was after loading the bases and hitting a batter with a pitch. I got to listen to all of Kyle’s outing at work, not realizing the fourth third – as Kelly pointed out in comments. Yes, he only went three. Hey, I’m annoyed and tired cut me some slack 😉 – would be his last inning. I didn’t get to listen to the game again until the 8th, so I’m still unsure why Kyle was pulled after only 46 pitches (3 hits, 1 walk and 1 strikeout) – I’m listening to the post-game show now, but no mention yet. I wonder if it’s a blister? Well, at least the loss isn’t on Kyle.

🙂

(Hey, I take what I can get on a night like this!)

Edited to add: Okay, I know the Rays are now in first place, but it was still sweet watching Jonny Gomes steal on Rivera/Molina and seeing them win in a walk-off in the 11th inning. It’s May. I can root for the Rays in May even if it affects the Red Sox.

I can’t help it. Watching the Yankees lose (especially the way they just did) really does put a little smile on my face.

And ANOTHER edit: According to ProJo:

Starter Kyle Snyder was held to three innings due to a tight groin. He allowed three hits and a walk.

Oh man.   PVs to Kyle!
