On Friday, June 29th, Magic Mike hits theaters. I have no idea if this film will be any good, but I do know that there are many worse ways to spend two hours than watching Alex Pettyfer, Channing Tatum, and Joe Manganiello strip. This fact got us at Starpulse thinking about other male celebrities we’d like to see taking it all off for the sake of their art and their wallets.
So it’s been left to me to give you a taste of the men not included in Magic Mike we’d like to see strip in the movies (or, heck, in real life). Here are the top five as chosen by a totally non-scientific poll of folks I know (in order of how who received the most votes):
1) Shemar Moore: Shemar’s name was the only one on every list of the folks polled. Obviously, Criminal Minds isn’t JUST getting their ratings just because of well-written plots.
2) Dwayne Johnson: Because, really, he’s The Rock. Who doesn’t want to see The Rock naked?
3) Zac Efron: The High School Musical star is now 24, so all the women out there worried they were virtually cradle robbing when they were lusting over him, then can now sit pretty. He’s hot, he’s relatively talented, and he’s generous, donating much of his time to charity, especially the Make-a-Wish Foundation. What’s not to want to see naked?
4) Alexander Skarsgard: Manganiello’s True Blood co-star has been nude on screen before, but who could resist a sexy striptease from the blonde hunk who has made a living out of playing sexually provocative characters? Besides, it costs less to check him out on screen than it does to order a season of HBO.
5) Idris Elba: My personal favorite. When someone asks you, “Who would you like to see strip?” the answer should always be Idris Elba.
These five rounded out the top ten: Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Rodrigo Santoro, Ryan Kwanten, and Jon Hamm.
