No surprise that the Sox didn’t exercise Foulke’s option. And I can’t say that I’m sad about it….his time in Boston has come and gone. BUT I’d be remiss without mentioning how important he was to the 2004 Red Sox. I will always believe he should have been voted MVP of the World Series.
So thanks for 2004, Keith, and good luck wherever you end up.
