How cute is this? For their July 28th game, the Lowell Spinners are changing their name to the Mike Lowell Spinners. Tonight, before the game, they presented him with a jersey that says that on it.

"When the Red Sox traded for Josh Beckett, we were more excited about
Mike Lowell coming to Boston," Spinners general manager Tim Bawmann
said. "We knew we had to do something, and we thought this was the
biggest honor we could give to somebody with the last name ‘Lowell’ ."
