Sunny Sunday

The only spring training game I’ve watched so far was the first one.  I saw (on dvr after the fact) Matsuzaka’s debut and aside from that, not much baseball.  It’s just been so nice around here, I’ve been going out, taking pictures and just enjoying fresh air that doesn’t make me want to put on a parka.

Nice to read today that Papelbon pitched so well (Papelbon struck out Philadelphia’s
2-3-4 hitters — including NL MVP Ryan Howard — in the fourth
inning).  I’ve never been big on worrying about wins and losses in spring training…it’s much more exciting for me to pay attention to the players and their individual achievements before the season starts (pretty much the opposite of how I look at the season.)

On a personal note, it was great to wake up this morning and realize that karma is a b1tch and you reap what you sow.  Maybe I’ll turn that into a t-shirt.

Have a great day, folks!
