Briefly on last night

Remember, Mike, it’s not how you feel, it’s how you look!Running late, but wanted to hit some bullet points from last night:

• It is really, really cold in May when you are sitting up high in Fenway.
• Drunk chicks shouldn’t wear high heels.  I thought I was going to see three of them wipe out on the subway stairs last night.
• If you pay all that money for ‘premium’ seats, you should at least know the names of the players. (And you should also tell drunken twenty-somethings to shut up when they are yelling expletives with your ten year-old daughter sitting there instead of telling her "that’s what they do at games".)
• Matsuzaka isn’t making me nervous yet, but he sure is trying.
• I pay way too much attention to Mike Timlin.  I knew quickly (without the benefit of someone telling me or reading it) that something was wrong even though I couldn’t clearly see the bullpen.
• Scoreboard watching in May is much more fun than it is in August.
• Oh, and, once again, my player of the week comes through.  🙂

Great game to watch, in spite of the first inning.  It’ll be nice to enjoy some road games this weekend, though, from the comfort of my couch!  🙂
