Not from yesterday, but a good pic nonetheless!Okay, so the ‘lose one’ was a big-ass loss. The pitching got crushed and the hitters were totally stymied by Smotltz. Nothing good from it. But the win was a big-ass win. Matsuzaka looked great, as did Snyder again…and our hitters took advantage of weak pitching. I’ll take the split on such a crappy day.
All I want the Red Sox to do is pad their division lead. I don’t think that’s too much too ask. 🙂
Good vibes for Jon!Jon Lester had a good outing in Ottawa yesterday. 3 2/3 innings, 48 pitches, 1 hit, no runs and 2 strike outs. Good way to start the rehab assignment, Jon! (PawSox won 4-0)
I have to admit to enjoying what is going on with the Yankees (big surprise, eh?). Giambi running his mouth about steroids, Farnsworth trashing Clemens, and the losses piling up. It makes a gal giddy. I’m not so blind that I think all of this will continue throughout the season (for either the Sox or Yanks) but if the Sox can keep doing what they’re doing and the Yanks keep doing what they’re doing…well, it’ll be a fun summer!
Kason Gabbard against Tim Hudson at 2:05 today for the rubber game. Should be interesting.
