How to be a good teammate

By Tim Wakefield.

Everyone wanted to give Tom Candiotti credit for Wake’s performance last night, but Wake was having none of it.

"He made a suggestion," said Wakefield, who gave more credit to his personal catcher, Doug Mirabelli. "I think the biggest hero in that was Doug. He found a mechanical flaw in my delivery. He and I took that into my next start."

I’ve written about him many a time, and time and again, Tim Wakefield remains one of the best people in baseball.   I’ll be very happy to have him on our team for years to come.

Hey…don’t forget the contest or the postcard shower!

(I was up early…I’m gabby today…)
