Kristine sent this to me a while ago (thanks, Kristine!) and now is as good a time as any to post it. Bronson Arroyo bobble head day is long gone, but the commercial lives on!
The only Red Sox article I’ve read this morning was by Bill Ballou about, you guessed it, Mike Timlin. An interesting note:
During the current shutout streak, Timlin has been getting outs in unspectacular fashions, fanning only three. Opposing batters have just four hits off him, though, and he has walked only two.
The ‘old man’ still has some life in him yet!
Take heart, Red Sox fans, it can only get better. Beckett’s on the mound tonight. He was born to be the ‘stopper’.
