I actually think it is just ridiculous to have to defend him since he didn’t do or say anything wrong. But after reading the story about how he accused ARod of using steroids all over the sports media yesterday…wait, what’s that you say? Chipper Jones DIDN’T accuse ARod of using steroids? What he actually said was that the steroid question will always be hanging over him because that’s the culture of sports now? I suppose next you’ll tell me that he also said he didn’t think ARod used steroids?

Wow. A New York piece of trash newspaper totally misrepresents what he said and the national sports media runs with it. Did NO ONE read the damn article?? I saw the headline yesterday and thought “Man, this is juicy!”, then I read the story. And guess what? No it wasn’t. Chipper only stated the truth. That every player in this era is going to have suspicion cast upon them and Jose Canseco bringing up ARod’s name won’t help ARod since Canseco has been right more than wrong when it comes to information about steroids users.

But, again, Chipper also said he didn’t think ARod used steroids. That should be the most important part of the entire article, no?  Hell it is mentioned twice n the piece in the Post.  Twice.  Somehow everyone missed it.

Chipper blew off the New York media last night and only spoke to the Atlanta press. Good for him. More players should do the same.

One would think basic reading skills would be required in order to work for a newspaper.  Or, for that matter, to be an agent.  Yes, Scott Boras, you are still a jackass.  As are every  sports media outlet, including bloggers, that reported the story without actually reading it.  As Jere would say, terrible job.
