Even after tonight, it still doesn’t suck to be Tom Brady!
Well, I’m out of my sick bed, but not to drink champagne. Oh well, what are you going to do? Congrats to the Giants on their Super Bowl win.
More importantly, congrats to Tom Brady and the Patriots on their 18-1 season. Regardless of tonight’s loss, the team has a lot to be proud of. And if you’re a Pats fan and you aren’t proud of your team tonight, you didn’t deserve to see them win it anyway.
I guess it’s a good thing I don’t invest in football emotionally the way I do baseball or I’d be more upset. I’m bummed a little, but not enough to have it encompass me. I suppose fighting off whatever this is I have is sapping more of my energy than normal or maybe I’d have focussed more on football this week.
So to all those I know who are taking tonight hard, my heart is with you brethren.
But, cheer up!
