Heidi Watney and Gordon Edes are discussing Daisuke Matsuzaka’s rehab appearance tomorrow for Pawtucket. Watney points out that he’ll be pitching about an hour away from where the Red Sox will be playing in Philadelphia and Edes asks her if she’s going to take the hour drive and cover that game. She laughs and says “No I’ll stay with the Red Sox”.
To which I respond to the television: “Because if you went to the PawSox game, you wouldn’t have the likes of Gordon Edes around to help mask the fact that you don’t know shit about baseball!”.
I’m really not as high strung as I sometimes come across.
