So the Sox sweep the Mariners – which makes me quite happy – and I’m listening to the Spinners game on the radio (the completion of the game we got rained out of last night) and Jeff Natale, rehabbing in Lowell, just hit a walk-off homerun. (He also had two doubles and a stolen base!)
Good times.
Still not sure if Kyle is starting the second game, waiting to find out now. (9:29pm edit- no Kyle tonight unless he comes in as relief which is doubtful.)
Justin Masterson looked pretty damn good, didn’t he? Papelbon and Hansen didn’t want to make it easy but no worries now that the game is over and won, right? Clay didn’t do to shabby either. He’s coming along nicely. 🙂
Day off and then the Yankees are in town. Three days of over-hyped, anxiety-laced baseball. Woo-hoo.
