77 years ago today, John Patsy Francona was born. There are many people who believe the 2004 Red Sox team would not have won that World Series without Terry Francona at the helm. If you are one of those people, as I am, you should send a birthday wish to John Patsy, better known as Tito, and a big “thank you” for his part in creating the son who would lead the Red Sox to two (so far) world championships.
