My annual "I’m coughing up a lung, jeez I think I’m dying" cold is in full force so this will be short.
Sox won. Indians lost. Yay!
Beckett dominated. Sabathia stunk like cheese. Double yay!
Eric Gagne honestly has no business near a pitching mound ever again. I’m sorry but it’s true.
(Linda Cohen just called Julio Lugo "Julio Logo". Is she for real?)
They need to find a place for the Papi/Manny statues at Fenway park. They are insane. God, I love them.
Mike Lowell – have I mentioned that I want the Sox to re-sign him?
What a great game. Thank you, Red Sox. I’m not getting cocky and it’s fun to NOT be the underdog but it’s also fun to see the opponent’s ace struggle this way. I can’t wait for tomorrow night’s game!
(Modified to add that I’m sitting here in awe of Josh Beckett. Just in awe. Come and tell me now, all of you who did throughout the season, that he wasn’t really as good as his record. Damn I’m proud of him!)
