Dr. Lonborg (the lighting was horrible so these pictures aren’t that great!)So yesterday I had my first opportunity to thank one of the 2007 Red Sox for this season. Fittingly, it was Kyle Snyder. We had a nice day and Kyle couldn’t have been nicer (presented with the picture of him and Steve the Ferret, FOUR TIMES, he handled it all very sweetly) albeit he seemed quite tired (then again, dude brings new meaning to the words ‘low-key’ so it could have just been business as usual for him!).
Jim Ed!Jim Rice, Jim Lonborg and Willie McCovey were also there. I have to admit to being in awe being in the same room with McCovey. (No disrespect to Rice and Lonborg who I was impressed by as well. But McCovey, well, damn, the man is a legend!) And, incidentally, Jim Rice is one fine looking human being up close. Television doesn’t do him justice.
That was quite the digression. 🙂
Baseball season is over and the Hot Stove season is upon us.
My wish list for Theo:
Re-sign Mike Timlin.
Re-sign Mike Lowell.
DON’T SIGN AROD!
