For those interested, tomorrow at 6:30pm, Comcast Sports Net will have Dustin Pedroia and Jon Lester on their nightly show.
I love the contrast, cocky yet goofy Pedroia with sour-faced Lester. This will most likely be high comedy folks!
Also on Comcast Sports Net, one of their guys interviewed Coco today. Roughly transcribed from what I saw, Coco said:
"I could cheerlead with the best of them. I’m not going to be happy but I’m not going to show it. I’ll go with the flow."
Everyone else is writing about how Coco will push for a trade and how he’s not happy. Well, for me, the man’s words speak for himself. In all honesty, I’d prefer Coco in centerfield to, at least, start the season, but if the Sox choose to go with Jacoby, I really hope they do right by Coco and trade him to somewhere he’ll be able to play all the time. He’s earned it.
And, hey, guess what? Manny showed up today. NOW what are the mediots going to write about?
Everyone is in the house except Bobby Kielty, who is a little busy right now becoming a new dad. He’ll be with the team this weekend and then everyone will be happy – and we get baseball!
My favorite email of the day came from a Yankees fan who, for some reason, felt the need to point out that Jeter was better than any player on the Sox because he has "four rings’. 🙂
