See these people?

These people are the people I love most in the world (them and my dad, who didn’t make the visit to the trophies).

My sister, my goddaughter and my mother.

See how happy they look? And why not? They’re posing with the 2004 and 2007 World Series trophies. This photo was taken tonight. Around 6:45 or so.

You might ask, “Where were YOU Cyn? God knows YOU’D want to see BOTH trophies together and get your photo taken with them.”.

That would have been nice. A family photo with the trophies. Way cool, right? Nope. I didn’t get the call. Can you imagine? Not even a phone call. (This is what happens when you work as late as I usually do. No one thought I’d be around in time. Go figure – tonight I was.)

My revenge will be well-planned and evil. That’s all I’m saying. When it’s least expected, they should expect it, baby.

Madison DID make me laugh tonight when she said, “I don’t know what the big deal is, it’s not like we went to see Mike Lowell without you. YOU went to see Kyle Snyder without ME!”.

She’s six going on 16. (And she must have Mike Lowell on the brain thanks to my mother – he’s HER favorite.) 🙂

Seriously, I’m really happy they all got to see the trophies and got photos for posterity. Our family…to say they like the Red Sox would be understating it just a bit. 🙂 This is almost as big a deal for them as it would have been for me. We printed up the photos they took of just Mad with the trophies and she’s bringing them to school tomorrow. Pretty cool thing to get to brag about on a Friday, huh?

Take a good look at that little face. A few more years and SHE’LL be blogging about the Red Sox like her aunt and her grandmother!
