Well, the good news is we went to Lowell and Kyle started the game!
The bad news is he came out in the third inning after calling to the catcher and someone in the dugout and then grabbing at his right leg (actually looked like the back of his right leg). Which can’t be good.
We watched him before the game and I thought he looked a little uncomfortable. But, really, what do I know? Could have been anything. New park, “bullpen” without walls…there were many reasons he could have looked uncomfortable before the game. And his first two innings were scoreless and hitless. He looked pretty damn good. Then a hit, an error (thank you Ryan Dent 😡 ) and Kyle was calling to be taken out of the game. I hope it isn’t an injury. I hope it was a cramp or something that can be remedied quickly. I think Kyle’s taken on enough this season without having to deal with more adversity.
