Random thoughts this morning because I stayed up to watch the entire game and am now up to get going to Pawtucket and I’m not quite in the frame of mind to form a coherent entry:

*  Gordon Edes is reporting that Brandon Moss might be getting the call up for the Anaheim series.  How does this make sense?  With Curt Schilling also back for that series, that will be TWO roster spots being filled…meaning two players currently on the team have to go down, or on the DL or be dfa’d.  This is NOT something I’m looking forward to.

*  The Sox winning last night at Safeco was great.  Not so great?  Gagne giving up a run in the 8th and Papelbon trying to give up runs in the 9th.  Get it together fellas.

*   What other team has owners like this?  🙂

*  Heading to Pawtucket to see Charlie Zink pitch.  He’ll be the first knuckleballer I’ve seen pitch in person aside from Tim Wakefield! 

*  Sox finally break their losing streak at Safeco and Beckett goes for number 14 again.  Here’s hoping by the time I get back from Pawtucket the Sox will be on their way to that win!
