Meanwhile…

…our manager is TRYING to manage himself out of first place. 

For the second game in this series he has totally mismanaged his pitchers.

Way to go, Tito.

EDIT:

Peter (in the comments section here) is right and I’m being too pessimistic.  Even if only by half a game, the Sox are still in first place.  Losing a series, after the way the Sox have been playing, is no big deal.  I have every belief that they are going to bounce back and find their groove again.  And I’ll be there Monday and Tuesday to watch it happen.

But, I still maintain that Tito needs help managing his pitchers.  He’s doing a lousy job of it right  now.
